i wldnt like to admit it but its actually quite nice. wonder if the interior spaces are well worked or not.
not like our giant white monster in bras basah.
The interiors are quite cosy and intimate although rather bland on the whole. Several design features strike me as being poor imitations of sendai mediatheque.

Why wouldn't you like to admit it? Have some patriotism for local arch, as much as you do for local soccer :P

I guess after a while, everything starts becoming imitations of others. There's only so much within the architectural design palette that can actually be done by the kinda contractors that S'pore has got...
Then again, it really does remind me of something I've seen in Java Island, Amsterdam, but I can't really put my finger on it.
erm hann totally misunderstood... it is not that i have no faith for local architects... it is just i have no faith in HIM...! as for HIM, he thoroughly professes so much good that RMIT has taught him and yadayada...
hahahaha.
I'm just really glad that he didn't make the whole building yellow.
