woohoo! finally, an update!! hahaha... how are ya man? how was venice???
wow nice.
Venice was quite quaint and very christopher alexander. Wayfinding is hard though, the whole town is like a maze, made up of a sequence of streets alleys, bridges and sqaure which look "same same but different". The wole place felt almost unreal, as if it was a theme park, virtually devoid of any new buildings (or rather buildings that look modern), like the whole town s being preserved or built to look old for the tourists. Way too many tourists everywhere and chinese waitresses in intalian restaurant. was nice as a whole but not worth more than 2 days without the biennale.
